Since I do not have a layout up and have most of my rollingstock done I can now finish putting decoders and weatherin the loco fleet. It is now about 2/3 done. This weekend was spent weathering the rest of my decoder equiped locomotives and putting in decoders and detailing some others. This is a Kato U30C that has been detailed, painted and weathered in addition to having a DZ123 put in it.

I added an anti-climber, MT pilot and couplers, plow, air lines, beacon, repositioned air horn, fire cracker and added the box behind the air horn (not sure what it is but most of the BN units have this) Unit was painted and decaled to match the protoype and then given a medium coat of grime to weather it.

This locomotive will be used mainly in grain and manifest service since I have a new fleet of SD60s and several C30-7s for coal service.

WOW Tony...that looks great. The lines and lettering look clean & crisp to the point of appearing flawless. Good job.

Very, Very nice work. You even placed the Warning decals and Owners plate. That does make a difference, between detail and DETAIL!!
