Well, I got the layout. (If you do not know what I am talking about, do a search for "just bought this" by me) and I got ALL this stuff in boxes and boxes that came with it. The guy who built this layout was German. Since I don't know his first name, lets call him Hans. Seems that Hans was really into European stuff. So it should be no surprise that he put down all this euro track, and wired it up with a Roco system. This system is fairly old, and he wired up all the switches into these Roco control boxes also. Well, we took a look at it today, and decided that all the Roco stuff has to come out. So out it went, into even more boxes. So after all of that, here is my actual question...... Do any of you know if there is an aftermarket for this stuff?? Should I try to sell it on Ebay, or just trash it? I was told by a euro shop in Chi town to trash it, but it seems such a waste. Hans bought the equivalent of a few thousand bucks worth of this stuff...it is all track routing stuff, all the parts needed to do a control panel for it, including the routing components. I am sure most of you know what routing is, but those who might be unsure, routing is where in a yard for instance, when you push a button to line a train into a track, all of the switches needed to line you over and into that rail throw in unison. Very nice stuff. I have no idea what this is worth, and it is all in mint condition, only thing missing is the power supply. If anyone is interested, I would be more than happy to draw up a parts list and fire it over to you> otherwise, if anyone can point me in the direction that I should go in as far as sell, or dump......please let me know....anyone wanna hazard a guesstimate as to what it's worth?? thanks in advance....
Go to ebay and do a search for the type of stuff you are wanting sell. That will give you an idea of its worth.Someone will buy it on ebay if the price is right and its in half way decent shape.
