Russ, thanks for the tip. On an earlier thread, you said to Johnny you were hooked on TrainSim. Do you have the Empire State Express add-on, and if so, are you enjoying it?

Thanks Russ. I entered too. My Amtrak vacation keeps getting pushed back further and further and further. I'm waiting for my contract to be signed. It's over two years due!!!!!!!!!!! The City owes me a lot of travellin' money. Had a big disapointment yesterday when I found my local has signed, but the City hasn't signed yet. I was all set to take a week off next month. Cheeze. Look out Amtrak! I'm comin' one of these days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Johnny- I was planning a trip with the family to Georgia during the kids winter break but like you I had to cancel my plans. Finances are getting tighter and looking at other posts on these boards, we are not alone. Hopefully things will improve this year so that everyone here on trainboard has all the necessary funds to enjoy their hobbies to the full extent. Happy Railroading! Russ
