Amp draw for sound

    Any idea what a sound decoder will add to my DCC amperage?

    I'm running two Bachmann Big Haulers with NCE decoders (D13SRs) off a PowerCab. With both locos going at almost full speed the PowerCab built in amp meter (nice feature) shows I'm drawing about 1 amp. I've got 1 amp left or would have an additional 2 amps if I buy the additional booster.

    What scale are you talking about? HO, O or G? It certainly isn't N scale.
