I have two TCS AMD-1 decoders in Atlas GP-38s. When I MU them the headlight goes out. When I remove the locomotive from the MU the light works. What CV do I need to change to get the headlight to stay on in a consist? I have a Lenz 100.
How are you programming the two loco's in the consist? When I multiconsist two loco's using the Lenz 100 system, I'm still able to turn on the lights in both loco's. When you call up each loco number, you can control the headlights of each individual loco. Stay cool and run steam....
Bob, Thanks for the reply. On both locos only the rearlight worked in a consist. I got out the fact sheet. I had CV22 set for 1. The default is 0 so and reset it a CV21=0 and both headlights worked. (The fact sheet had a blurb about CV21 controlling consist lighting.) Thanks Jerry
Jerry: I'm glad to hear that you were able to get the lighting figured out. Stay cool and run steam....
