Found this 15KV electrostatic power supply on Electronic Goldmine site (www.goldmine-elec.com). 12VDC rated, says it will run at 9V with reduced output (I would assume around 10KV). I'm not sure which polarity is needed but but if the grass doesn't come out of the shaker, reverse the HV output leads.
