Does anyone out there have interior photos or drawings of an RSD-15 interior. I am detailing an interior and don't know the seat arrangement, control panel, electrical cabinet, etc. also what color was Santa Fe's interiors back in 50-60's? Thanks....Tom
I would wonder if an RSD15 interior layout would be similar to that of an earlier RS? Perhaps if a photo of those could be located, that would help? Interior cab colors? What I remember from other companies back in the mentioned time, was either a gray, or what I would call "institutional green." That light greenish color which is hard to describe. Mad River & Nickel Plate railroad museum in Bellevue, OH has this on display: http://www.onebellevue.com/madriver/55.jpg I've been inside the cab and have pictures. They aren't scanned though. I distinctly remember it as a light gray-green; grayer than zinc chromate and greener than primer gray. Contact me offline if you need more.
