I have this set and had the Stiska's separate them for me. They were connected by wires as opposed to couplers from the factory and I didn't care for this particularly. Now I have a nice set but they need to have MTL couplers retrofitted onto them. Not as easy as it sounds. Do any of you know how to do this or know someone who does? I'd like them done before NTS.

    Thanks in advance!

Karen is it not that hard, there is a direct replacement for the MTL couplers, just make sure you use the MTL spring not the Marklin spring. You can use either but the 902 looks better.

I think MTL has a conversion chart on their site.

Just pop the truck cover off the marklin(careful not to damage it), while it is upside down and insert the 902 set in place and re-install the cover. It takes patience.

    good luck
