hey alan you need to come next year and show your cars and kits. lots of good railroadin in chicago also.
Bring along Matthew also!! Mopac and I will show ya a good time!! Just remember which side of the road to drive on!!!
Thanks for the offer I have driven in many different countries around the world, including the USA and they all drive on the "wrong" side of the road
Sez YOU! Geez, next thing you'll say is that our steering wheels are on the wrong side of the cars........ LOL! Hmm....that IS a good idea- peddle your wares at the next show, get some railfanning in, catch a Cubs game, walk along the beach on the Lake Michigan shoreline.....not a bad way to spend some time.
Alan, Rochelle is just 60 miles west of Rosemont. I officially invite you to visit the Rochelle Railroad Park and the N scale UPRR Rochelle Division when you attend the Expo next year. Daryl home.attbi.com/~dpkruse
Thanks for the invite daryl, sounds good to me Bob, I have walked along the Michigan beaches, but it was in 1985, and it was the Lake Huron coastline north of Bay City, up to Traverse City and beyond, up to Sault Ste. Marie. It was very strange to realise it was a lake, as it looks more like a sea! At one place we had the beach totally to ourselves, until the mosquitos drove us back into the car Got some photos around somewhere, but they will be on slides.
Hey Alan! Where you REALLY belong is here: It's a new All-Scale Model RR Show, produced by the people that do the successful Big Train Show on the Queen Mary every year. http://www.themodeltrainexpo.com/ Just a hop and a skip from San Bernardino, Cajon Pass and the Needles Sub. And a jump from Tehachapi! Oh yeah....the rest of you guys are invited too!
So many places to visit..............so little time They all sound great, wish I could get to a lot of them, but I would need to sell an awful lot of kits to recover my expenses
