Over the weekend I purchased a Badger 200 airbrush. I had about 20 colors of Delta Cream Acylics from another project, so I tried the airbrush with these watered down (by as much as 2:1, H2O to paint). I was unable to get thinner then .25 of an inch. Is it impossible to use these paints for fine detail? Or is it the airbrush?
As far as I know it is impossible to use cream acrylics in an airbrush. Artist acrylics are not made to thin that much and get decent coverage. I have tried and have never had any luck either. I even tried to use the craft acrylics and that won't work either.
Thanks. That was what I needed to hear. Actually, it is Delta Ceramcoat acrylic paint that I was playing with.
