But is it???? On the BBC weather forecast a few nights ago, there was a comment that we were now in the season we in UK call Autumn. The calendar in the kitchen, however, claims that Autumn starts on the day of the Equinox . . . Nice scene, whatever the time of year! Regards, Pete Davies
Technically it is this coming Saturday, the 22nd. But close enough for me. It's quite obvious here already, with the nip in our night air. I can't wait to see the change in vegetation colors and do some railfanning with that background. Hopefully a few folks will share some additional scenes on their empires.
We can always tell it's that time of year. Activities here drop, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, then when games are done there is a flurry of posting, as folks catch up.

HELLOOOOOO football , hot potatoes , steaming hot chocolate and hard cider ..... don't ya just love a good football game in the snow and rain and wind ???? huh doncha ??? least where I come from that's the way it's done ... dont forget the Series ..... warm afternoons ... swing and miss strike three yerrrr ooutttt ! Man, I love this place , Rail road trains , football , World Series , NASCAR , falling leaves and the colors, enuf colors to make ya burst ..... Ain't Life Grand ??? God Bless America !!!!
