I finally have been able to put together a video of the ACT. I am still trying to learn the editing program and the uploaded version to Youtube has lost a lot of the originals quality but here is the link. Please let me know what you think. Thanks , Mike [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drbq1N_WDkc"]YouTube - N Scale Layout ACTRR[/ame]
Hey, Watching this made me realize the key to life. Open a hobby shop & build a beautiful layout. Then sit back with a beer & good friends & enjoy.
Well that was very different and professional . I especially liked the way the moving trains were not really treated as the only thing the camera focused on , the moving trains , for a great part , just appeared in the scene , a scene very much worth focusing in on . There was so much to notice , yet it wasn't cluttered , as it shouldn't have been given the local . Cool seeing those Indian caves , there name and exact location escapes me , but I remember seeing them on TV . I did like the song very much , but it didn't fit the era , which had my emotions doing a ping pong match . This was by far the very best model railroad video I ever had the pleasure to view . Thank you for inspiring me as to what can be .
Thanks Guys , It is my first atempt at even getting video to the computer and doing any editing. Now that you mention it I never gave the song era a thought and that is a shame as I have about 1400 40's 50's and 60's songs on the computer. Duhhh Mike
And a tax writeoff to boot. The song threw me off too. Why that song? Loved it. May have to give it a try sometime.
WOW!!! Great layout, Mike!!! Very nicely done. Many things to love but the cliff dweller ruins and the dam are really awesome!!
Outstanding! There were times that I anticipated the autos moving! The control panel caught my eye. The routes seemed to be laid out in a solid material on the surface of the panel. Is that correct? What is the material?
The Panel is made of clear Plexi . I tape the diagram to the back and then glue Evergreen Styrene on the outside to the shapes below. I then paint the whole upper surface and use paint pens to mark the routes. Thanks , Mike
