Here are some pictures of weekend work on the Albuquerque Carnuel & Tijeras RR. This was all the wood from a piece of 2X12X8 redwood.

Looking at the trestle, as first pictured, reminded me of my days as a child. Playing with Lincoln Logs. What is the actual overall length of this impressive structure?

    That's a sweet little teakettle!

Thanks Boxcab , It is about 18' long and is ripped redwood. I am going to work on a really short trestle tomorrow using dowelsand precut stringers.
    Thanks , Mike

18 feet is beyond impressive! And, is that real moisture I see underneath?

BC , it is real moisture you see to settle the crusher fines. I found it makes a black mess when the dogs run through it though so it has since been covered with pea gravel.

I would like to know where you get your lettering. I want to do some home road lettering on my locos, but am at a loss for where to get started.
