not yet, the BIGGEST question I have is which flaw to live with...the SoPac had four U28B's built in U25B bodies, the spotting differences were that they had a 2 peice winshield like the Atlas model, but a ratched brake handle, and the real SP U25B's had a 1 piece windshiels....and i am dropping the plow since I can't find a picture of a 4 axle SP U Boat with a plow

No reason to live with flaws... cutting out the center post on the window would cure one. I think the more noticeable is the extended equipment boxes found near the radiator on the SP units. Don't be apprehensive about digging in and making the unit correct, the lessons and rewards are plentiful:tb-wink:

I am leaning towards the 6709 since it does not have the extended rear boxes and the framed roof horn...

I rulled out 3100 and 3101 since the doors are all short...

Flash, look at 6701, the rear area where the hand rails go up above the battery boxes goes to the rear of the loco, wile on 6709, they don't...just trying tomake it as realistic as possible

Utah Pacific makes the roof mounted signal light. Part number 71 I think and MV makes the red lense for it.
Looks like a good project. I have two Espee U25B units from Stewart. They are older models with a Athearn style drive.
