Very interesting site, thanks for the link! We followed a portion of that line a few years ago. This GATX tank is near Rodeo: I also spotted a passenger car off the highway rotting in the weeds (near Rodeo). Sure would like to see it close up if anyone has a picture.
Wish we could get John Signor to do a book on the EP&SW. Now I'm sorry I didn't take more pictures, while working Tucson to El Paso. I did hear a lot of "Old Head" stories, from a few conductors, about working a "Rodeo Turn." Everyone should make this drive. It's not really that much further, than I-10 Paul McGuffin
