Returned via mail a $189.00 Riv Steam Loco with a minor operating problem. My charge account was credited back within three hours the day they received the loco. (Nothing like electronic tracking)
Chuck, Thats good to hear! I haven't once run into a problem with Trainworld, or Trainland out of NY or Long Island! Very customer friendly!
I have never had a problem with TrainWorld or Standard Hobby Supply. Both places have treated me with courtesy and taken care of any problems that may have cropped up. I bought all my track from these places. I am glad someone else had good positive feelings/dealings with them.
When I buy from a hobby shop at any time its normally Trainworld or Trainland. And once I bought from World Of Trains and never had a problem... So I'll give the credit where its due... And will be a repeat customer....
I am considering buying from Trainworld and did a search to find feedback on their service. Looks like I’ll be placing an order soon. Their prices seem almost too good to be true! Some (most) of their inventory is priced 50% less than what other places charge. They must be getting great factory direct deals or buying in bulk quantities. I’ll post a reply when I get my order.
