I shot this one in Bank Lick, KY last weekend. I don't like to show off vandalism, but I thought this was odd. This was a lot of work for someone... Maybe they should try putting the effort towards something worthwhile.
Looks like they did a good job covering up the old vandalism paintings in one ACT of whitewash... :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
You know them autoracks its like 2 made together. Well I seen one of them completly covered and I cant rember what it said!
I can imagine what happens to the vehicles behind that perforated panel while it is being spray painted.
I had the same thought so I started to wonder: How long would it take for that kind of work? - Several nights? 2 at least? Would a fully loaded auto carrier be in any one place long enough for an artist to do that? Was it done with spray paint? Speculation: The car was empty
With Louisville being the auto hub for CSX we see racks like this all the time. How in the world do they paint at the top????mg: I can understand maybe the top at a certain point on the car but to do an ENTIRE 90' rack just blows my mind!
I was wondering all the same things. There must be certain places where one could access the whole car top to bottom, end to end. Or...Maybe they just show up with some ladders?
Yeah, it just kills me how someone with a camera innocently taking pictures draws more attention than someone carrying a 20' ladder and a backpack full of paint:tb-confused:.
Here's what it looks like when they don't have a ladder: Note the blue lettering on the right end--looks like some other gang was mad, and let the guys that got there first know what they thought of their work... "You messed up our spot... Thanks!"
That original shot at 2800x2100 reveals a lot of detail and embellishment on this car that I never even noticed that day. Someone had a lot of time with no one watching!
