A small but awesome logging layout

    Check out this N scale logging layout. The detail is stunning, especially his scratch-built trees. They look so real it is hard to believe it is N scale.

    That layout has a 6 percent grade. Wonder how that works with the Atlas Shay?

    Tested both my Shays on grades greater than 6% and they will handle at least 6-8 cars more doubleheaded.

    He has done an excellent job on all the details that go into making the scene from the log pond down to the loading point in the woods. The detail on the donkey engines engines is great. And of course that is some nice scenary.
