Hi all, I commissioned Alan to create a unique husky stack car to carry the DI commemorative containers, and I thought I would share his work with the folks here. I realize that this is a fantasy car, but in my house, CR still lives on
Hey Bill, any chance (beg, borrow, or steal) Alan could make this for others??? Those DI containers deserve a special Husky Stack, and Alan has done a bang up job on this. This NS fan would be proud to run one of these at the end of my intermodal trains PLEASE Ed Dillard
Ah, but if I did that Ed, Bill's car would not be unique anymore I have had a number of requests to do this, but as I did this car specially for Bill, I feel it should stay unique to him. If another design of the red, white and blue could be produced, it could be used. But when I try to design another scheme, it comes out like the one I did for Bill [ 15. what if you could get a full semi-transparant flag background, covering the entire side, with a sillouette of the twin towers and pentagon? could have 3 containers, start of the number with the date, last 4 numbers being time of impact....... of course, the twin towers might be harder to do...., could use some script fonts from microsoft to make a cursive look........... just some crazy ramblings!!!
Alan, Once again, you have contributed a "masterpiece" to our scale. That is quite a work of art! Yes, I am sure that there are many more jealous modelers out there that wish they could own one of these beauties (myself included ) Harold
