    You wouldn't loose siding space if you added the doubel crossover and then repositioned the sidings.

    I agree with Thirdrail. The bridge over the river leading to the bumpered track really isn't logically. Maybe you should re-evaluate that part of your plan.

    Otherwise you've done a fine job with the foam.

    Randgust is right about short sections of track beyond bridges, but they are at least one car long. I recall one over a street in Jamaica, NY, to a one car spur. But, the track with the bumper is not even a carlength.

    The best solution is to remove that big bumper and indicate the track at one time continued, with diamonds crossing the double tracks. Just enough was left intact to perform switching moves. Would justify leaving a bridge in place, not building a new one.
