I will admit, I have never used CAD and have only a mild interest in learning how. I'm hoping someone with knowledge can create a part, which I'm sure would sell, and would also help many of us out. My request: A modern Anti-climber with the ditchlights (cast or printed) as part of the unit. The anti-climber would have the top welled out so that the stock handrail assemblies of a Kato for instance would settle nicely into the part and look stock. I cannot express how much I HATE adding ditchlights to my locos, even though I feel it is one detail I CANNOT ignore. I have transplanted anti-climbers from one shell to another, and found they glue into place and are much more robust than just the tiny ditchlight housings available on shapeways. Take a Dash 9 for instance: The ditch lights actually appear to be mounted just forward of the handrails, on the anti-climber. The only solution I have come up with for my locos is to glue them to the walkway. Anyone with experience with a Kato walkway knows just about nothing sticks to them. Anyway, I'm done ranting.
