I have picked up a rather large locomotive...most interesting piece of equipment. The beast rides on running gear from Bowser, a bowser rear engine bed for a Boswer challenger, and many of the detail parts are also Bowser challenger parts. The Smokebox door is also the same as Previous.

The dimensions are enourmous...maybe even outside of HO tolerances. The cab is missing.
The boiler is a piece of Brass, at one time it looks like it was a solid piece. the center was bored out, so that lighting equipment could be installed.

    It measures as such:

    Boiler/tank Width: 1.5625 inches.
    Pilot Width: 1.5 inches
Overall height at stack seems to be 2.5 Inches, but not accurate.
    Boiler diameter: ~1.25 inches
Length: Short (about 40ft, if HO)
    Weight: ~2.5 lbs

With railimages down, I am resorting to building my website pages as I go with my projects, which means I might get alot more done!

    Behemoth Monster of a Locomotive

It might make a fine companion to my Challenger, and then again, it might be better off heading towards a new home...

Could this possibly be a On3 engine. You know, the O stuff that runs on HO track not sure if it's On3 or On30 or whatever.

    Mathieu-

You may be on the right track. I get a similar impression. If O scale on HO, that is called On30. However, I don't think it's On30. Doesn't quite look large enough. Am thinking perhaps it's S scale narrow gauged. Believe that it's known as "Sn42."

Perhaps if Greg Elems sees this, he'll have an idea.
