Has anyone had experience with A&R Productions products, or their online distributor Bedford Freight House? I'm considering buying the A&R DVD entitled The Boston & Maine, a 55 minute video covering B&M routes in New Hampshire and Massachusetts during the early 50's. But, I don't want to blow $30 + Shipping on junk or bad service.... Thanks
Hank- I have one video from A&R. Wires, Wings & Warriors(?) About the Milwaukee Road electrics. I'm quite satisfied with it. Acquired years ago. So cannot speak to anything current. Have not checked the A&R web site in ages. Am not familiar with that distributor you named. I did find one thing about the above named video quite interesting. That being the promo clips at it's end, for other tapes available. Some interesting stuff. Including steam on the CVR. Views of the Monadnock Northern operation. Etc. Boxcab E50
Ken. thanks, I went ahead and bit the bullet. The various data I found while researching about that DVD indicate that it contains E7 cab shots from the Alouette from Concord to Woodsville, NH in '54 through some of my old stomping grounds. Also cab shots on the Fitchburg Division through eastern NY State, where I lived for six years during the late '40s and early '50s. It should be an interesting video.
Thanks, Thom...! BTW, I found out that the Friends of Bedford Depot Park, Inc., a non-profit B&M restoration group has an online store that sells alot of B&M stuff, including videos, as a means of raising funds.
Yeh, right...a review by the person who is best known as being "Opinionated...But Lovable!" Stay tuned....:teeth:
