I've been thinking about doing this with flexible thread and supermagnet bits for years. Happy to see someone is saving me the hassle of building my own! If they work seamlessly in N-scale, I'll be putting them on every car and engine where it's appropriate. However, I don't do Magnematic, I cut the dongles off every Z-scale and N-scale coupler I have, and, I use a pick to uncouple my cars when switching. So, this product is custom made for me. No, they won't be for everyone, but what product is? As for myself, YEAH!!! Cheers! Bob Gilmore
