Have to love those new oddball loco's that companies think of.. Welcome to Tractive Power Corporation It seems like for every fictitious model we model railroaders create from our scraps, the more the 1:1 rebuilders have created such a model or something similar. Tom
Try this http://members.shaw.ca/tractivepower/index.html?page_id=88 there is also a PDF if the link opens, hopefully it will work this time.. Tom
The pic and company are real, they've been around for a while, this isn't their first kick at the can. I live in North Vancouver and if you look at the address you will see it is North Van. But the picture looks like it was taken in Squamish BC which is relatively close to North Van, where the Royal Hudson Steam Excursion train used to go to and very close to the train museum there.
I'll give my opinion here as well, it looks like a baby SW1500. I am quite sure that one modeling in either N-SCALE,ho-SCALE,S-SCALE could use a SD40 snoot and a SD powers truck. Tom
This is a private project underway inside the former BC Rail LRC at Squamish. It is a few tracks over from the business car NORTHERN SUMMIT which I have been measuring. it is exactly what it looks like - a switcher on a SD40-2 truck. Tim
