I don't think it has quite the pinache that the Q's Zephyr had though ;)

Hmm. what would it take to build one of these in N scale?

A couple of the Kato Power chassis, talent, time, talent, styrene, talent, detail parts, talent, window and door castings, talent. Oh and did I mention a lot more talent than I certainly have.

It's the Midland Terminal Railway (of Colorado)

Im kind of a picky guy, also easily confused. The interesting motor car was of the Midland Terminal Railway, probably 102 . The Colorado Midland Railway as you know, and for the non Colorado types, is totally different. The number coincidentally is covered up in the picture. They had two of these, allegedly built from Colorado Springs interurban cars, but this one looks like there is hardly anything left of the original. The other one No.101 might be easier to model since it has more of the original including maybe some trucks. Do they make N scale interurbans, maybe a classic Jewitt or StLouis? See P261 of Massenas book, Colorados Mtn Railroads for No. 101.
