Yesterday caught the SP4449 (GS4 Steam) and X5399 (SD9), all decked out in SP Black Widow livery, on the way to 'Crusin Sherwood 2008" ( http://cruisinsherwood.com/schedule_of_events.html ). If you want to catch them today they will be in Sherwood Oregon all day and morning tomorrow. Lots of old and custom cars to set off the period mood, and did I mention Steam?

They both look really nice! I can't think of who- Owns the SD? Or where it's kept?

The SD9 is owned by LLW... I am trying to remember the name of the guy who owns that outfit. He owns some old locomotives and restores them and a lot of them actually work on the PNWR/WPRR system.

Argh. Well, I had the first letter of his last name...

Doesn't he have a steam logging engine or similar size? Operational? Restoration?

    OOpps!

This is why I should always read the latest posts before blurting something out. I usually do, I just didn't this time.

    George Lavacot is correct.
