Did a little railfanning ( as I try to do when the sun is out) and at the former Katy N. Muskogee yard, I found this relic still in service: MKT 100452, a two-bay covered hopper desigated for sand service, still at work supplying sand for the UP. No graffiti, no "Borg patch", just faded green & yellow.
Great find. The paint is still very good. What about the yellow panel in the middle? Is that a MOW type marking? Thanks.
