Hello everyone! New to the forum here. I've been lurking here and there, and decided to post about my ideas. Now, I know Walthers produced an SW1 that I could pick up from Ebay, but being the masochist that I am, I decided to do things the hard way. So, I picked up a Lindberg SW1 and got to messing with it a bit. What I'd like to do is take the hood from the Lindberg model, shave the hood and cab from an Athearn SW7, fit the Lindberg hood and a Cannon cab onto what remains of the SW7, work some magic with the trucks to make everything fit, and maybe throw some stuff from Detail Associates to make it look good. I know, not the easiest or most economical way of doing things. But if I can pull it off, it'll be something I can be proud of "building". Does anybody have an SW7 cow or calf shell they wanna get rid of??? Prototype-
