So originally she was going to purchase a G-Scale boxcar for me but it was sold out before we got to the show. So we were digging around looking for Walthers BN Auto Carriers. We came across a 15.00/ea sale but nothing that was Burlington Northern or BTTX. So I looked some more only to have her tug on my shoulder holding something. An Atlas BTTX Articulated Auto Carrier. Now my HO Scale layout's theme is ATSF Being absorbed by Burlington Northern and I thought this could work. Realistically it was BNSF when Thrall produced these actual Articulated Bi-level carriers. Show special: 33.00/ea. So I took it home and tested it on my small test track.

Roller ball bearings are a huge improvement for any scale imo. They rolled great. The cars had some really nice weight to it and the instruction manual was buried under the styrafoam but it really isn't needed. Unscrewing the truck from the diaphragm and placing the cars onto the post underneath and and then screwing the truck back into place. 22" minimum radii to operate; 24" for realistic operations. The decals are crisp and clear without being too "Toy" like. Very nicely done from Atlas. So I'll stop yapping and show you my photos. Enjoy the big train layout in the background as I put this on the floor to photograph and show perspective of height vs my cab units.

EDIT: Yes that's my MOW Boxcar project in the background and the Snowplow is mocked up, not attached yet. Missing some parts for it like MU Cables and Airhoses.
