OK, freelancers, here's some fuel for the imaginative fires- I got this idea from looking thru the book "Frisco in Color", and got to thinking what one of the latest diesels would look like in Frisco colors if that road were still around.
So, downloading a blank picture from Railroad Paintshop , I came up with an imagineered SD70M, dressed out in an adapted version of the "racehorse" scheme used on that road's E8s. [IMG]

    Hope you like......

Nice paint job, I was thinking of this same thing a few days ago but didn't do anything with it. maybe I'll have to give it a try in Milwaukee Road colors!!

That looks very cool, Bob! How about trying it in other Frisco schemes? ;)

Those Railroad Paintshop drawings are excellent for trying out paint schemes.

Black and yellow would be cool.

Charlie, did you give up on the Frisco? Your logo has been missing in action for awhile. Oh, just in case, the Wabash is accepting new fans!

Funny you should mention that- I have a friend who painted a B40-8 in Frisco's black & yellow scheme, and lettered for the QA&P.

I thought about black & yellow, but color-wise, it couldn't hold a candle to the racehorse Es. UNless, of course....... I did one with the F-unit treatment............. [IMG] .......worth a shot........
