    8 hours is nothing for us westerners. Denver is about 10 hours from KC and even more from any other big place of interest. I suppose that's why I tend to head to NM most of the time. Santa fe is only 6 hours away.

    I haven't been since it is also ~ 8 hours away... I hope to get there sometime within the next year...


    I think it is a great idea as a "tourist" destination or similar attraction... I wish they'd do the same at Hamlet (NC) at the site of the moved and renovated passenger station.
