my masking sucks... But everything else is coming along nicely. I need to fix that angle on the roofwalk. I have body mounted a pair of beta test Micro Trains scale couplers. The caboose has the long shank couplers. Not only did I have to drill and tap the hole, but I also had to tap the coupler box mounting hole aso the normal 00-090 screw to fit through the box.
May I make a suggestion-? This adds a bit of time to the paint process but it may help. After masking - hit it with a coat of the base color- then apply the next color. The base color will help seal the mask joint. And -- go slow with the orange. Looks like you tried to cover in one pass (The step wells look pretty thick). It may take many many many coats.
