    Have you ever leaned over the yard to reach a car on the far track, and have your shirt drag a car off the track nearest the edge of your layout? I have! [​IMG]

    That's the fun of operations. Stuff like this occurs regularly. Take a moment to "reward" the victoms with a memorial. Like: a cross or a sign in a memorial pile of material that was dumped at the wreck site: "The H.J. Smith Memorial Ballast Pile" Something like that brings personality to your layout. Which looks like it's coming along pretty well at this point. OP's. You gotta love it!
