Good one Robin, shows the system works [IMG] I love the high mounted bells on Canadian locomotives!

Here is one of my own taken last fall here in Queens, NY. This is the DH505 waiting for it's return trip to Selkirk.

D&H 504/505 runs from Saratoga, NY to Oak Point Yard in NYC. It does not run to Selkirk, which is owned by CSXT.

As a note, there are only a handful of locos that can work this job, since the need cab signals for the Hudson Sub and notched plows for the third rail south of Pokip. I believe the 5420s and 5690s are properly equipped.

Nice photo Robin. The scenery reminds me of the shrubery I use to play army in as a kid about 60 years ago.

Thanks for correcting that Corey! I actually did know that but you know how the mind works sometimes. ;)

I even had an invite for a cabride up to Saratoga on the same train but had to work. I am hoping for a rain date in the future!
