The dock workers who unload coal trains, (Roberts Bank, BC), have a tentative agreement.

Interesting to note the comment about BNSF's "less than expected" performance in their reduced productivity for 2022.

Another customer suffering the class 1's shenanigans...
Good to see some progress to improve things for the worker bees.

I'm trying to recall news from years back, but didn't OR and WA establish difficult environmental regulations regarding coal dust that resulted in U.S. Pacific export coal tonnage being moved to BC? It was quite the economic boon to BC and additional capacity was added to the Port.

I recall those "States" attempting to establish some sort of regulation. BNSF has been moving trains across Taxington on a regular basis. I never saw any altering of cars (covering them was one suggestion. Unworkable, of course), or service.
