I really have taken too many pictures lately, nor posted any.... (long story; many technical difficulties) anyone, here's a couple taken basically minutes apart from the same location: Harold
Hey Harold I know youve been talking Big MAC's so I finally got some developed from a recent trip to Atlanta. CSX 801 in CRISP paint!! [ 18. January 2003, 00:01: Message edited by: nickleplate ]
Dont see many here in the Triad either, only ones are from runthru power. An impressive machine though!
BTW, I see most pics posted here have the owners/photographers name on them. How do you add your name to a photo to protect it and what kind of protection of your photo do you get? Bob
Seems like that is all I see,,, Harold </font>[/QUOTE]Well, since GJ was a marshalling yard for North Fork coal trains, I also saw AC6000Ws and SD9043MACS. Unit trains would run east two on the point, two midtrain, and two at the end, all in DPU mode. Sometimes the setup would be 2-1-2, or even 3-2-2. And the EMDs and GEs would be mixed & matched, but ALL power on the coal trains were ACs.
I actually use Microsoft Picture It! to add my name to the photos... posting a copyright on a photo is my humble attempt to show ownership since I don't want others to benefit or profit from my efforts,,, It does not guarantee that nobody will steal or claim your photos, but it is worth a try Harold
Here's the rear of the 801. Taken same day at the same location as Nickleplates post! [ 20. January 2003, 04:30: Message edited by: Sou2601 ]
