Rapido's "The Canadian"?
Yes. I had it out on a loop of Unitrack last night. The coaches are on the heavy side and I will need to tweak a couple of reverse curves to get them to track well - not quite ready for a video. Will definitely need some heavy horsepower to move a a full consist. The lighting works well and shows off the full interior detailing. The coupler at the rear of the observation car droops just enough that the wire is catching the inside of the rails. The easiest fix may be just to cut back the wire but I will wait to do surgery. Overall a solid 10/10 - especially given how long we have had to wait for this huge gap to be filled. Thank you Rapido!
Just picked up my order. On mine the wheels drag a bit more than my blue Kato via units so far on my flat run in track my p42 is able to pull at 1/2 amp at 6 volts
Got more work done today. Wasn’t able to get frt grab rails from kit to work right for me so i gaft in Kato sd90s. No sandra the paints not thick its a 3d print sadly had to sand a lot off to get rid of print lines
These are going to make a nice set when and if I get them all done (if the VA hospital ever gets my spine repaired right )
Hey thomas I got these in a trade deal. Unfortunately all have same rd #s let me know if you want
More forward progress on the Canadian military units
