    Miliput

In the USA, I guess the "miliput" would be "bondo." Looks like you changed the roller bearing trucks to friction types.

This is another great kitbash, Jon. I see the end product and I am amazed. Very nice. :rose:

    Flash,
As I recall, Squadron Green is a much finner grit than Bondo because it will even hide a scratch.
If you want a "really" super fine filler for Museum work, mix one tiny pile of Talcum powder with a bit of lacquer or clear coat, until you have a creamy texture, then lightly paint it on the surface. You can sand it down, then polish it out with Mackalier's compound on
Q-Tips to a brilliant shine. Only mix what you need at a time, it wont keep. It gets thicker in the bottle with time, even in the freezer.
Best is to sprinkle a bit on clean polyethylene plastic, dip a small or tiny paint brush into the clear medium, and roll it in the Talc until it gets creamy, then paint it on the crack. Clean brush and allow filled crack to cure out completely. Throw left-over mix away.

Look at polished Green Putty under a microscope, then look at polished Talc. For close-up Photo work, the glare of light will show the difference (for Purists.) Bondo looks like a gravel road under a Microscope.

Be careful! Bondo is highly toxic!

There has been many a time when I have been running freightcars with only one side decaled, made the decal sheets go twice as far ;)

The problem with this project is it has reminded me that I only have one Caboose...... So I really got to get some more done!
