soo, I bought two sets of Life-Like's FA1/FB1 from a magazine I recieved in the mail (back in February) and recieved a pack that had the FA1/FB1, but the other one had two FA1 units! I sent it back after a week or two awaiting a reply, and I just got a package back from them...

    ...GUESS WHAT...

Yea, that's right, once again it contains two FA1 units. The packaging is ripped differently than the last one, so I know they didnt send back the same one.
Just wanted to get that off my chest..

Nutey , I would have to guess they are GN. If so one set is FA1 and FB1 and other is 2 FA1's
    #'s 7445 and 7446.
    Just a guess.

Life Like #7446 (as you now know) are FA/FA-1 #276A/276B .. which is correct for these two units as that is how GN received the prototypes. Life Like #7445 is GN FA/FB-1 set #310A/B, which to be accurate, requires another FA-1 numbered #310C. Reason: This is the ONLY complete ABA set of ALCO's GN ever received. All the rest were AB sets with the lone exception being #276A/B.

For me, I bought two #7445 sets and simply renumbered the 'extra' FB-1 for other than 310. I also renumbered the extra FA-1 #310A to #310C.

M.B.woo woo woo web page still carries set #7445 for $39.99. [IMG]

    Hope this helps,

    Roger
