GOLDEN - A train car jumped the tracks Saturday morning and spilled about a thousand gallons of fuel. Authorities say it happened shortly after 9 a.m. at a switching station along the Burlington-Northern-Santa Fe tracks, not far from the Coors plant. Golden firefighters say part of the rail line broke off and ripped a fuel tank underneath the train car. A fire captain says about a thousand gallons of diesel fuel spilled but added that it wouldn't cause any damage. No one was injured and environmental crews were cleaning up the mess
Rail line broke off? Like a rail broke, and punctured a fuel tank on a loco? Gotta love how the media has no concept of rail jargon...
