After all the works are spoken today, the bells rung, and the ceremonies concluded, we stand united. This display of our national symbol on a pair of Verde Canyon RR's F7s stands out for me as a saying it all, most simply. I can simply say thank you to all the Train Board members and staff who have contributed to todays rememberance. I believe this eagle represents all your thoughts. It is certainly more that trains. Did those trains run today? A year ago today, notta single train ran between Ft.Worth and Waco juction, not even the 55 Local. Today: I heard to 55 Local in town working the Burleson Feed Mill and saw one of LCRA's 120 car coal trains pass through.
