    That's a great looking car! What did you make your bed from? How did you attach the trucks? With MicroTrains releasing flats every century, being able to make your own speed things up considerable...

    I'd also like to see the finished car. There's a lot of things like this that need to be scratchbuilt (in my case, 60' flats) and it's always good to see someone reaching forward a little.

    Hi again
    The cars are made of plain evergreen plasticard.
    I post more detailes next week ,
    I dont do all the details under the car as I plan to build a couple of hundred in all sorts of styles ,
    A military train of 35 cars for instance , I build them 10 at a time
    otherwise I would go nuts , ; )

    I know what you mean about going nuts. I did individual planks for the wood decks on the 60 footers, and definately had evil thoughts while isntalling them...
