Any one else get a sub standard load on the new flat. Mine is lacking detail at each end as if the mold was warped or something. I think it is supposed to steel beams but not sure on that.

The load of I beams has a triangular frame at each end, presumably to keep the load from shifting and should be painted to look like wood. Of course it conveniently hides the ends of the I beams which couldn't be produced in a resin casting.

Now, can somebody tell me what color the car is? Under some lights it looks dark gray, under others it look dark blue and under still others it looks dark green.

For $21 +- why does one have to paint the ends of the load? Admittently, I'm an ARR nut and want at least 2 of any type of loco and piece of rolling stock that is or has ever been released, but this car has me saying... ugh? Granted it's just my opinion and it is worth what you pay, but this flat looks like it belongs behind the Bachmann gp-40. (yes I have 2 of those too but still ask myself why).

It's dark blue. There's more info on the prototype in the UMTRR for February, just posted:
