I put the Digitrax recommended DH-123PS in the Bachmann Spectrum 10-wheeler. Works well, although if I did it again, I'd get the longer cord/plug - more room for manoeuverability - it's a tight fit. Andrew
I have three Bachman's : 0-8-0: Digitrax 123 w/ 8pin harness attached 2-6-6-2 LokSound Decoder 2-8-0: Sound Traxx DSD 4-8-2: Sound Traxx Tsunami In the three that I have put sound in, I was also using the DH123 with the 8 pin harness. I never had a problem with any of the engines. Now I am trying to figure what to do w/ spare mobile decoders as I upgrade to sound. On the 2-6-6-2 and the Mountain I did adjust DH123 Starting/Mid voltages to get have it start and come up to speed a little more smoothly. But other than that... no problem.
