Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photograph rather than using a photograph that you have taken in the past. 3. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!! 4. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged. 5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully. 6. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will be deleted. 7. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between the 24th May and 26th May 2008. 8. Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct. I look forward to seeing many contributors, remember this is to encourage all modellers to take a shot of the subject rather than post a photo taken in the past.
C&O camp cars, The George Washington, a few green C&O coachs, a doodlebug, a few John Deere tractors, a green cabin roof, a flat bed truck with a green cab and of course evergreens on the mountain.
John Deere Plant GP40 OK, so it isn't real but it is green. I did this by request with the thought it was a plant switcher. Here it is on my layout before being shipped off to do the job for it's owner.
Ah, ha! Air conditioned tractor cab, I see. Probably has a TV in there so he can watch the St. Louis Cardinals play football.
that's not the fancy tractor, this one is! non contest photo in the first one, you can only get the Cards-Astros game on the satilite radio, while row location verified via GPS!
"Green" you say?? My N-scale Paducah and Louisville... for those of you coming to the 2008 Convention in Louisville, not only can you see my stuff there but you can also visit the P&L's Oak Street Yard for a better view of the prototype! Chad
Chad: If you're in the contest, please pick one of those pictures. We don't allow multiple entries. As you can tell, I'm taking over this operation...heh, heh...as Colonel has departed on another vacation for this next week. Sure, he says he is working, but you never know. I am new at this, but I think I will end it on Tuesday, USA time as it is a long weekend in the USA. Keep those green posts coming, you guys!
