January 2006, BNSF and Boeing are celebrating the 5,000th 737 shipped by rail from Wichita to Renton! That's alot of planes!!
No mention of a special train though. Wichita is building the 5,000th 737 fusalage right now, so it will be on the rails soon. Maybe keep an eye out for it?
Being a special load, I'd wonder if at least the car would carry banners? So it would stand out? And fans would be able to easily follow progress? Photos? Boxcab E50

Workers began final assembly on the company's 5,000th 737 jet. The 737-700 is bound for Southwest Airlines and will be delivered sometime next month. Sales for the 737 passed 6,000 last month, reaching 6,099, making it the best-selling airplane of all time. The plane has been in production since 1967. _____________________________________
Not really, those are just orders. Orders regularly lead production by quite a bit. I wonder where the dreamliner and the new 747 will be built?
That is a bummer!! The main passes right past my front door and I see those Boeing cars all the time.
