SP/SSW 4449 Back On SP

    Now that 4449 is back in her original Daylight colors. Will SP 4449 someday return to her old home rails in the near future.

    Colin, it's doubtful. Insurance costs have clobbered steam excursions. As far as I know there are no more 4449 trips scheduled for this year. For the most reliable information, visit the Friends of the 4449 at

    I see you are posting from Portland. The 4449 WILL be arriving back in Portland tomorrow. Do you know where Brooklyn roundhouse is?
