Cajon Pass, over the New Year's weekend. To boot, no two locos are the same!

That EXACT set of power was in Perris California on December 30th.

There was an article in one the rail magazines about the route to Perris being the last stand for Santa Fe 4 axles.

They were in a big hurry to get away from Perris, too! :) It's the fastest I have ever seen a train racing through Cajon. It was behind the Union Pacific train (shown behind) as they merged at the beginning of Sullivans Curve. By the time they reached Mormon Rocks, the BNSF train was way ahead!

That's what Santa Fe bought em for. To move trains fast.

    Cascade green and Black? GAH!
It offends the senses to even think of Cascade green and black on Cajon.

Photoshop the H1 GP60B back to Warbonnet please.

Ok, I give up, the 2nd and 3rd both look the same, geep 60's, with the exception of the paint. What am I missing?

What is meant by this? The BNSF locals in the SF Bay Area still use Santa Fe four axles, last I noticed.

Meaning it's not a local or yard job.
I believe it's Barstow to Perris.
