I've looking for an HO 4-6-0 Baldwin preferebly with a wood tender and a diamond shape smoke stack. All I've found are 4-4-0 and 2-6-2 Moguls. Could anyone stear me in the correct direction. Or will I have to do some rework of something else. I have found them in N that could be modified but not HO.

Roundhouse used to make one before Athearn took them over. Keep your eyes open at train shows.

Mantua, or perhaps it was Tyco, made a diamond stack 4-6-0 which I believe was based on the 10-wheeler that appeared on the TV show "Petticoat Junction." Don't know if it was a Baldwin product or not, but do seem to remember that the pilot wheels had deep flanges and wouldn't run on track that was less than code 100. As best I remember the drive wheels were RP-25.

That one was a model of Sierra RR #3 and was a Rogers product of 1891 vintage.

I believe Bachmann is now making one but it's coal fired. Is there much to making the modifications?
Now to find a model close to the hotel. I've never seen what Drucker's store would look like but I'll use my imagination. I do have pictures of the water tower and if I go that far Green Acres should be easy.
    Now it's finding the money.

I received a Bachmann Spectrum 4-6-0 unlettered for Christmas and it came with a wood load with which to modify the tender.... Not sure about the funnel but that could be accomplished without too much trouble....
